The Comedy Store is koploper als het gaat om legendarische comedyclubs. De alumni vormen een waslijst van topsterren, waaronder Dave Chappelle, Jim Carrey, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Joe Rogan, wijlen Robin Williams, en de lijst gaat maar door. De entreeprijs is redelijk, vooral gezien het feit dat elke show verschillende acts van beroemdheden en opkomende strips bevat. Let op: er geldt een bestelbeleid van “minimaal twee drankjes”. Naast de locatie in Hollywood is er nu nog een locatie in La Jolla.
