This original location was named Fong's Chow Mein. It wasn't long before Fong's outgrew this location and in 1966 David Sr. and Helen opened up the full service David Fong's Restaurant at its present location just four blocks away from the original spot. David Fong's Restaurant has become a landmark in Bloomington and is one of the longest running, family owned restaurants in the entire Twin Cities.
