Whether it’s the bustle of the markets, the air-conditioned calm of the mall or the exclusivity of boutique shopping that is more your bag, Blackpool has it all. There is a myriad shopping opportunities around the main pedestrianised areas of Victoria Street and Church Street, where most High Street fashion stores are concentrated; Queen Street is the place to go for small, independent boutiques. Located nearby is the Houndshill Shopping Centre which has another 40 retail outlets and a choice of cafés and restaurants in which to recharge your batteries.

A rather new addition to Blackpool's shopping scene, the Houndshill Shopping Centre is a compact, polished mall with multiple international brands and the iconic British department store Debenhams represented. One must-stop here is the delightful Disney store.

One of Blackpool's best-kept secrets, the Regent is an indoor antiques market and a real treat for vintage-lovers. Inside, one will find old furniture, retro clothing and accessories, books, decor items and various unique knick-kncacks. For a break, sit down at the Tea and Vintage Tearoom inside.

Abingdon Street Market

Abingdon is an indoor market selling a diverse potpourri of items - fresh meat and dairy produce, fruit and vegetables mingle here with vendors selling clothing, accessories and make up. It's a one-stop location to stock up on all possible necessities and small extras.

Freeport Fleetwood

Only a short tram ride away from Blackpool city center is Freeport Fleetwood - an port-side outlet mall with a large number of brand-name stores offering significant discounts. There is an outdoor play area for the young ones and several lunch-perfect eateries and cafés.

Located on the South Promenade, Brooks Collectables is a rather unique artisan store offering a variety of rare items and collectibles. Upstairs the free-to-enter Brooks Museum of Memorabilia invites visitors to look around at the rarities that landed in the owners' hands over the years.

Head to the Blackpool Promenade to pick up quintessential Blackpool souvenirs. Barely any shop in the area isn't continuously in full stock of rock (local hard candy), hats that read "Kiss Me Quick", risque post cards and other tacky but oh-so-cheerful items.

One of the iconic British department stores, Debenhams also enjoys a presence in Blackpool. The brand is known for the high quality of its merchandise, which ranges from clothing to cosmetics to household goods and even home furnishings. Located inside the Houndshill Shopping Centre.

A favorite for all ages, the Disney Store holds a multitude of Disney, Marvel and Star Wars memorabilia. Action figures, comic books and knick-knacks in abundance are on sale here, and true fans are advised to come with time - the magical world of Disney has held many a shopper captive for hours.
