Höga Kusten

Rotsidan is a four km long coastal area with flat diabase cliffs framed with windswept pines and short spruces. A geological interesting place, easily accessible and perfect for sunbathing.

Gullvik is one of Örnsköldsvik's most popular sandy beaches. On site there is a barbecue area, several volleyball nets, a large playground and a campsite for those who want to stay longer. There is also a kiosk and a nice restaurant.

Smitingen in Härnösand is a well-visited classic sandy beach that is one of Norrland's finest. Close to the city centre, only five km from Härnösand, you will find shallow water and a sandy beach, where you can surf on the waves. Smitingen features a café and a volleyball net.

Hörsång's sea bath is a sandy beach located 20 km northwest of the High Coast Bridge. The shallow water makes it great even for smaller kids.

Sheltered by the forest and with an outstanding view of the sea, Salusand havsbad is one of northern Sweden's longest sandy beaches. Besides sunbathing and swimming, you can enjoy mini-golf, playground for the kids, volleyball, badminton and a restaurant.
