Stroll down Karlsruhe’s shopping mile – Kaiserstrasse – to find department stores, boutiques, trendy shops and family-owned specialty businesses. The Post gallery mall, housed in the beautiful former main post office at Europaplatz, offers some upscale shops and cafés on three floors, while the Ettlinger Tor mall offers 130 shops, cafés and restaurants. For a more traditional shopping experience, check out one of the many open-air local markets.
