What makes this airport unique is its runway, which is only 400 meters (1,312 feet) long, making it one of the shortest commercial runways in the world. The runway is so short that only small planes and helicopters can land here, and only a few pilots are qualified to land at this challenging airport. Despite its size and limited accessibility, Juancho E.
