Rabat offers a lot when it comes to bars, clubs, and pubs. Keep in mind that drinking alcohol on the street or on public transport is strictly forbidden. Many locals do not drink alcohol at all, but that does not stop them from raving on the dance floor. During Ramadan, bar and club schedules can change, and all other areas of everyday life are affected as well. Note that smoking indoors is allowed in a lot of places in Rabat.

The Cedar offers one of the best views over Rabat and its surroundings. Enjoy cocktails and tapas, sometimes even live music, above Rabat’s busy streets. It is located on the 14th floor of five-star The View Hotel.

Amnésia is Rabat’s most famous club and if you like dancing to house or RnB, this is the place for you. The crowd usually arrives after midnight (mostly locals), and mind that the club’s fame comes with a price tag.

If you are looking for a location that comes as close to an English or Irish pub as it can get in Rabat – Upstairs is always worth a visit. Apart from beer, they also serve international dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Visitors like the relaxed ambience, which is sometimes complemented with live music.

SO Lounge

SO Lounge

SO Lounge is a restaurant and club located at Sofitel Hotel, close to the Urban Forest. They serve European food and feature several different floors and areas. Drinks are on the pricier side.
