However, if festivities are what you're after, go there in the first weeks of October, because every year, since 1978, there's the Yarmouth Seaside Festival, a traditional festival that includes craft markets, parades, fireworks, various races and a lot of exciting events.

Cape Cod Gateway Airport (HYA)
Cape Cod Gateway Airport is a public airport located just 5 miles south of Yarmouth. It is Cape Cod's major airport as well as an air hub for the Cape and the Islands (Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket). The airport is served by scheduled commercial flights as well as charters and general aviation. Jet Blue has a seasonal daily nonstop service to New York Airport.
