The Trieste Airport (The Aeroporto Friuli Venezia Giulia) is located about 33 kilometres from the Trieste city centre.
There is a bus connection to the city centre leaving from outside the Terminal building. This is operated by APT Gorizia. The journey time is 50 minutes and tickets can be purchased at city bus/coach stations, at the airport in the Arrivals Hall, or with an automatic machine for self-ticketing at the Post Office. Updated schedules and fares are available on the internet site.
