The guide was updated:Every day at 12:00, the Szczecin bugle call is resounded from the Town Hall and the Castle of Pomeranian Dukes. The bugle call was composed in 1995 by Janusz Stalmierski. It is usually performed by one trumpeter, except for state and city holidays, when it is ceremonially played by three trumpeters.

The dwarf came to the capital of Western Pomerania as a gift from Wrocław on the occasion of the Day of Kindness.
"Życzliwek" (Well-wisher) is a bronze figure of about 40 cm, holding a sunflower in one hand and a suitcase in the other, as befits someone who is just moving in.
The dwarf came to Szczecin as part of the Coalition of Cities project, an element of the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016.

Szczecin's mosaics
There are several dozen hidden mosaic compositions and collages in Szczecin, alluding to the symbols of the city, the places where they were created, as well as completely abstract ones. They can be found on pavements, elevations or inside buildings.
Szczecin's mosaics are a project created by the city guide Joanna Olszowska and the visual artist and activist Sabina Wacławczyk. The artists undertook to create a map that helps to locate the works.

In the Urban Summer Zone on Grodzka Island #visitszczecin frame awaits you. It is a perfect place to take a souvenir photo with the beach and the Chrobry Embankment in the background. Nearby, at the Starówka Quay on Łasztownia island, you will find another characteristic installation. It is the sign "Szczecin", which in its form refers to sails.
