Ramona Grasslands Preserve
The guide was updated:The preserve is a county-run park offering public access to a four-mile loop that allows hikers, bikers, and horseback riders. A collection of rare animals also make their homes in the area: Stephens' kangaroo rat, fairy shrimp, purple stipa, blue-eyed grass, and wooley blue curls are just a few. Bird watchers will enjoy the grand hawks that live in the grasslands as well.
