The best time to visit Park City is from December to March. First of all there's the ski season: if you're a winter sports enthusiast this city in winter is the perfect place for you because the ski season generally runs from mid-November through mid-April (depending on the weather and snowfall). An important celebration in Park City is the Sundance Film Festival, a major film festival dedicated to independent cinema that takes place in January in the Egyptian theater.

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is 4 miles west of Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. SLC is a hub for Delta Air Lines and Delta Connection carriers SkyWest Airlines and Endeavor Air with nearly 300 departures daily. The airport also services Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, United Express, American Airlines, American Eagle, US Airways and US Airways Express. International flights span Canada, Mexico, France and Asia. Ground transportation to and from SLC is available via the TRAX/Light Rail and Bus. Car rentals are available through Avis, Enterprise, Hertz, Budget and other companies. Additional transportation is serviced through City Cab, Ute Cab and Yellow Cab.
