The best time to ski is often around November, when fresh powder is deepest. If you’re looking for the very warmest time to visit this city, the hottest months are July, August, and June. There are several easy ways to reach nearby destinations, including bus, taxi, and ride-sharing apps like Lyft and Uber, which are allowed to service the airport. There is also a train service from South Bend International Airport to cities throughout Northwestern Indiana, with a terminal station in Chicago.
