Citizens of these countries must obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before traveling. All other travelers must obtain a visa before visiting the United States. International travelers need a passport that is valid for at least 3 months after the end of their intended trip in order to enter the country.

Best Time to Visit

Located in the uppermost western part of the USA, Lynden is characterized by a combination of oceanic humidity, strong wind and relatively high latitude that makes temperatures quite cold from October to March. Winter is also the season when precipitation reaches its peak, and the lowest temperatures keep many tourist from visiting this region. Late Spring might be a good option for those looking for mild sunny days and low hotel prices. Anyway, the best period to enjoy Lynden is definitely Summer: besides the pleasure of open-air activities, the third week of July is the time for The Raspberry Festival, which features basketball tournaments, the Razz & Shine Car Show, The Raspberry Fun Run, tours of raspberry fields and wineries.
