Sandwiched between Settathilat and Sisavangvong Roads in the town centre, the Night Market is a beautiful frame to the intricately decorated temples and monasteries and the jungle-covered terrain. From 5 pm onwards, vendors load their stalls with handicrafts and other goods, from clothing to jewellery, to lamps and ceramics. Food stalls are concentrated at the end of the street. Flocks of tourists from all over the world come here to get a taste of local life and gain insight into Lao offerings.
