France can be visited visa-free for up to 90 days by citizens of most European countries, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Israel, UAE and most countries in America. If you are unsure whether or not you need to apply for a visa, we recommend contacting the embassy or consulate in your country. International (non-Schengen) travelers need a passport that is valid for at least 3 months after the end of their intended trip in order to enter the Schengen zone. Citizens of Schengen countries can travel without a passport, but must have a valid ID with them during their stay.

Airport
The Limoges – Bellegarde Airport is a small and modern airport located 6 kilometres west-northwest of Limoges receiving both domestic and international flights.
There are several taxi options outside the terminal. The company “Allo Artisans Limoges Taxis" (AALT) offers a fixed rate from the airport to the train station. It is possible to pre-book a transfer. But you can also find taxis just outside the airport terminal or the train station.
If you rather take the bus, there is a direct bus between the airport and the bus station in Limoges during the summer months. The journey takes about 20 minutes. There is also an option to take the local bus number 16. This route goes all year but it departs almost 5 kilometres from the airport terminal.
