Best Time to Visit
Much like the rest of the United Kingdom, Exeter does often get bouts of rainfall, but these are normally not too disruptive to tourists' visits. The best time to plan your trip for is the summer, June through August, when the weather is at its warmest and most pleasant. On the contrary, the months of December through February are known to be some of the rainiest.

Exeter Airport (EXT)
Exeter Airport is located at Clyst Honiton in the District of East Devon, five miles from Exeter city centre and five minutes from the M5 motorway.
The bus connecting the airport and the city centre is called Stagecoach. The quickest route by bus to and from the city centre bus station is to take the 56 (56A 56B), which operate 6 days a week (Limited route on Sundays and Bank Holidays). The journey time is approximately 25 minutes.
The airport’s only authorised taxi company, Apple Central Taxis, operates from the taxi stand outside the Arrivals building. You can pre-book by telephone or in person at the Taxi Desk.
There are some approved car hire operators at the airport such as Hertz, Budget and Europcar.
