San Diego International Airport serves the Coronado area with domestic flights and international flights to Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Japan. SAN services the following airlines: Air Canada, American Airlines, British Airways, Delta Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines, United Airlines Express, US Airways and more. Ground transportation at SAN is provided by door-to-door shuttles, inter-terminal shuttles, limousines, charters, Amtrak and Coaster, rental cars, taxis and Metro buses. Most common is a taxi. The ride takes 15 to 20 minutes. Public transportation is available via the Flyer Route No. 992, a Metropolitan Transit System bus that offers services to and from the airport and downtown San Diego. The bus stops between Terminals 1 and 2 and the Commuter Terminal.
