Best Time to Visit
Thanks to its high elevation (9,800 feet), Brian Head offers a welcome contrast to the desert climate of surrounding southern Utah. In summer, expect pleasantly cool temperatures averaging in the high 60s and low 70s. However, be aware that thunderstorms are common in late summer; checking the forecast before outdoor activities is always a good idea.
Winter transforms Brian Head into a snowy playground. Brian Head Resort promises an excellent skiing experience with incredible views of Cedar Breaks National Monument, Dixie National Forest, and even Zion National Park.
Brian Head is also a fantastic place to witness the vibrant colors of fall foliage. The dramatic shift in seasons makes this mountain town a year-round destination.

For any medication needs,, the closest option is the family-owned Parowan Drug & Gift, located about 13 miles north of Brian Head. They can assist with both over-the-counter medications and prescription refills.
Alternatively, you can find larger pharmacies like Walgreens and Walmart in Cedar City (approximately 30 miles from Brian Head). Cedar City also offers several independent drug stores.
