Best Time to Visit
The best time to go to Corsica is from June to the end of August. If your desire is to lie comfortably on one of the many beautiful beaches. Temperatures are typically Mediterranean, this means generally mild: the record temperature during this period is 32° Celsius.
The lucky ones who can enjoy a holiday in the spring and autumn will find a pleasant climate, high temperatures, fewer tourists and much lower prices than during the high season. This season is recommended for hiking, diving, nature walks and sports in general.

Figari-Sud Corse Airport (FSC)
Figari Airport is conveniently located around 20 km south of Bonifacio, making it just a 30-minute drive by car. To get from the airport to Bonifacio, you have several transfer options. During the summer, there are sporadic bus services that operate between the airport and Bonifacio, with a travel time of approximately 30 minutes.
Alternatively, you can easily find taxis waiting right outside the terminal for your convenience. For added peace of mind, you can also pre-book taxis using various online booking platforms. If you prefer to have more flexibility and mobility during your stay, several car rental companies operate at Figari South Corsica Airport.

Unfortunately, there is no bus service around Bonifacio. Most visitors to rent a car or get around by taxi. A local company called Eurocorse offers connections to Ajaccio, Porto Vecchio, Bastia or Figari Airport.

Within an hour's journey from Bonifacio, you can find yourself in Italy, specifically in the charming town of Santa Teresa in Sardinia.
