The two major airports near Arnold are Sacramento International Airport (SMF) and Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO). Sacramento International Airport, about 110 miles from Arnold, is the larger of the two. Terminal A serves airlines like American, Delta, United, and Air Canada, while Terminal B hosts Aeromexico, Spirit, Southwest, and others. Although there is no direct public transport to Arnold, you can take an airport shuttle to Sacramento and then a taxi from Lodi Amtrak Station to reach Calaveras County. Reno-Tahoe International Airport, located 158 miles from Arnold, offers direct flights to cities like Las Vegas, Seattle, and Phoenix, as well as international flights to Guadalajara, Mexico. Major American airlines operate here.
