The Intermodal station serves as the primary transportation hub, accommodating both bus and train services. It connects Almería to other major cities in Andalucia and Madrid Atocha, which takes around six hours. There are also ferry connections to Morocco and Algeria. As of now, Almería does not have a high-speed rail line. The closest high-speed train line is located in Murcia, which can reach Madrid in 2 hours and 45 minutes. In terms of bus services, Alsa is the primary company operating at the Intermodal station.
