Almería's cruise terminal ranks among Spain's top 10 busiest ports, due to its proximity to North Africa. It's located at Muelle de Levante, where ferries daily cross to and from Morocco and Algeria.
The port of Almería is divided into several different areas. The west part houses a restaurant and the fishing area. Cruise ships dock along the Levante pier, near the control tower. Both sides of the port offer picturesque views.

Almería Airport (LEI)
Almería’s airport is located 9 kilometres east of the city. Although it's not a big airport, its facilities are modern, with a café, a terrace, and easily accessible arrivals and departures located on the main ground floor.
Bus 30 operates from the arrivals terminal to the city centre every hour, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The journey takes about 35 minutes.

Intermodal Bus & Train Station of Almería
The Intermodal station serves as the primary transportation hub, accommodating both bus and train services. It connects Almería to other major cities in Andalucia and Madrid Atocha, which takes around six hours. There are also ferry connections to Morocco and Algeria.
As of now, Almería does not have a high-speed rail line. The closest high-speed train line is located in Murcia, which can reach Madrid in 2 hours and 45 minutes. In terms of bus services, Alsa is the primary company operating at the Intermodal station.
