Located at the top of the Varberg fortress, the Kulturhistoriska Museum allows visitors to delve into the cultural history of Halland, showcasing iconic exhibitions such as the Bocksten Man from the 14th century and the Halland photo exhibition. Also, the Artist Colony of Varbergsskolan, exhibits paintings from Swedish artists.

Once a 1950s military factory complex, 798 has been converted into Beijing’s best-known contemporary art district. The old concrete workshops and warehouses now house galleries, studios, and design shops, featuring everything from major exhibitions to small, experimental shows. You’ll find photography, video art, installations, and plenty of one-off pieces that change all the time. The area has also filled up with cafés, bars, and restaurants, so it’s easy to spend a few hours wandering, eating, and people-watching. It’s in the Dashanzi area, northeast of the centre, and the mix of Mao-era industrial buildings and modern art is half the experience.

Located in the middle of the beech forest, Öströö is home to one of Sweden's largest populations of Gotlandish sheep and Highland Cattle cows. The farm features a handicraft shop where they sell sheepskin products and straw work. Additionally, there's a butcher's shop where their own ecological products are sold, including tasty lamb and other delicacies. Visitors can also embark on a safari to see lambs and cows in the natural habitat.
