Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone, situated a few miles south of Montpellier, is home to a magical lagoon landscape with beaches, sand dunes, islands, and a massive 17th-century cathedral. There are plenty of relaxing and active pursuits to explore in the area — from water sports to bird watching.

The National Mall, also known as The Mall, comprises the main stretch of significant sights in Washington. Among these are the National Gallery and Sculpture Garden in addition to an abundance of Smithsonian institutions, including the National Museum of American History. Monuments include memorials to Presidents Lincoln and Roosevelt, as well as those remembering veterans of the Vietnam and Korean wars.

Frankfurt’s botanical gardens consist of 20 hectares of parklands and 9,000 square metres of greenhouses replete with flora of the most diverse climate zones. Internationally renowned exhibitions and festive events provide a colourful fringe programme.

This building is composed of a church, convent and university, all completed at different times. On the exterior, there are two striking renaissance doorways, featuring the founder's family coat of arms and the shield of the Dominican Order. The Baroque entrance to the University shows an allegorical figure representing wisdom. Human figures adorn the Baroque tower. Inside are two magnificent cloisters, the Renaissance one in the convent and the University own Baroque example. The church is a renaissance building with later Baroque additions. An interesting feature in the Renaissance doorway leading to the sacristy and refectory, dating from the late 16th Century with a fascinating base covered in Vatican tiling from the 18th Century.
