Renowned as the backdrop for iconic scenes in the film series, Nefta's otherworldly landscapes transport visitors to a galaxy far, far away. Beyond its cinematic allure, Nefta enchants with its mesmerising scenery, from rolling dunes that stretch as far as the eye can see to palm-fringed oases. The ancient town is steeped in history, with its labyrinthine medina, adorned with vibrant blue and white facades, and the iconic Mosque of Sidi Bouhlel, which stands as a testament to the region's spiritual heritage.

One of the best-curated art exhibitions in the city as well as one of the most important art museums in Brazil, Pinacoteca does an excellent job of displaying some of the best Brazilian artists from the 19th and 20th centuries. The centrepiece of the impressive collection of sculptures includes a statue by Raphael Galvez called "O Brasileiro".

Opened in 2016, the House of Eternal Return is a self-titled combination of “children’s museum, art gallery, jungle gym and fantasy novel”. It has been formed by the Meow Wolf collective and over 100 local artists. The installation represents a Victorian house, in which each visitor can choose their individual path. Cardiff Bay has altered beyond recognition, from its past as the world’s largest coal exporting port to a modern sports and leisure complex. It is also Europe’s largest waterfront development which has a wealth of leisure activities available both on and off the water. Sights of interest and things to do include: Pierhead Building, Coal Exchange, Cardiff Millennium Centre, Norwegian Church, Mermaid’s Quay’s restaurants and bars.
