Place Pierre Puget is a small square with a fountain covered in greenery—nice for a quick break. From here, take a walk through the Old Town’s main street down to the harbour. It’s an easy stroll with plenty to see along the way.

The National Anthropology Museum consists of permanent and temporary exhibitions of Mexican art, life and culture. Description texts and audio guides are available both in Spanish and in English making it easy for international travellers to learn about pre-Hispanic and contemporary history. Plan at least two hours to explore the thematic halls of this museum. There are enough exhibits to keep you coming back for days, though.

Jardin Alexandre 1er is a small, quiet park in central Toulon—good for a break if you need to sit down for a bit. There’s some greenery, a few fountains, and plenty of shade.

One of the castle's most intriguing attractions is the Kyrenia Shipwreck Museum, housing the remains of a 4th century Greek merchant ship discovered in Cypriot waters. Believed to have sunk around 300 BC, the ship's cargo included amphorae, almonds, grain, wine and millstones from the Greek islands of Samos, Rhodes and Kos. The museum offers a unique opportunity for you to explore an ancient shipwreck and its well-preserved artefacts, providing insight into maritime history and trade during the time of Alexander the Great and his successors.
