The city is surrounded by the beautiful and lush Margalla Hills, a favourite escape for the citizens of Islamabad. Daman-e-Koh, a splendid picnic spot about a 30-minute walk up the hills just north of the zoo, offers breathtaking views of the city, including a stunning vista of the Faisal Mosque.

The MacRitchie Reservoir is Singapore’s oldest water reservoir. Its main purpose is to collect rainwater and provide drinkable water to Singapore’s residents. Additionally, the reservoir is the central feature in MacRitchie Reservoir Park. The MacRitchie Nature Trail is a series of boardwalks that vary in length and take you through the tropical rainforest. The TreeTop Walk — one of the park's main draws — is a suspension bridge that gives you a bird’s-eye view of the forest below. On your walk, you will definitely see some monkeys. They are definitely cute, but can be a little naughty, especially if you are carrying any food.
