Vibrant, colourful, casual and young at heart, Nørrebro is a magic area of Copenhagen. Here you'll find trendy bars and fashionable designer shops next door to dodgy dive bars and cheap kebab places. If you're into small design shops head for Elmegade or Jægersborggade, and if you like antiques Ravnsborggade is the place for you to head to. At Sankt Hans Torv and the streets around it, you have plenty of choices for dinner and drinks. At Assistens Cemetery, you can visit the graves of famous Danes, such as the famous fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen or philosopher Søren Kierkegaard.

Ross Castle is a classic 15th century, with square bartizans on diagonally opposite corners and a thick end wall containing a tier of chambers and winding stairs.

Through the Verwall Valley, the tranquil setting of the Verwall valley is perfect for taking a leisurely sleigh ride. An excellent way for non-skiers to take in the sights and skiers to have a break from the slopes.

In the busy St Brelade’s Bay you can find the beautiful, miles-long St Brelade’s Beach, Jersey’s busiest port and a parish church. Here you can enjoy long days sunbathing, do water sports (lots of water activities go on here daily) or simply go on scenic strolls along the bay.
