Journey Behind the Falls is a year-round attraction that affords a unique view of the Falls from below and behind. You’ll descend 45 meters by elevator, where a short tunnel gives access to two outdoor observation decks and two portals located directly behind the Falls. During summer daylight hours, over 2,800 cubic meters of water thunder over the brink every second, traveling 65 kilometers per hour. Elevators descend 150 feet through bedrock to tunnels that lead to the Cataract Portal and the Great Falls Portal which is one third of the way behind the massive sheet of water. Then you walk on to the Upper and Lower Observation Decks at the very foot of the Falls. Founded in 1934, the Livingstone Museum holds the distinction of being Zambia's largest and most historic museum. This cultural institution offers you a fascinating journey through galleries showcasing collections spanning natural history, archaeology and ethnography. There's also a shop in the museum if you want to purchase quality local artwork or other souvenirs.

There are a number of things to do at the Port of Spain Cruise Terminal if you have time to spare. The Terminal itself is a great starting point, with a variety of shops and other services available. There are also live performances of steelpan music, traditional Carnival dancers to give cruise passengers a warm welcome.
