This is an international cultural centre designed by the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. Centro Niemeyer is his first work in Spain and it is well visited by relevant personalities of the cultural world such as Nobel prize-winner Woyle Soyinka and famous actors like Kevin Spacey and Brad Pitt. Woody Allen has also included bits of it in his first film in Spain, Vicky Cristina Barcelona from 2008.

Constructed during a tumultuous period when colonial powers were vying for control of what was then known as British Honduras, St. John's Cathedral was built utilizing slave labor over a duration of eight years. Despite its unassuming exterior, this small Anglican church holds a unique distinction as the sole location outside of England where British monarchs were crowned. Four Indian Miskito tribe kings, who resided along the Mosquito coast, were bestowed with elaborate British ceremonial regalia that rivaled even the grandeur of London's royal ceremonies. This effort by the British was aimed at cultivating friendly relations with the tribe and safeguarding their power, land, and wealth from their Spanish rivals.

In Yangon you can find the oldest and largest zoo of Burma. The great collection of local wild animals makes it a popular destination for weekend travelers and locals alike. Next to the animal park, the area hosts the Natural History Museum, an Aquarium and you can join animals shows throughout the day.

Cathedral City Classic is the largest Division One softball tournament in the nation, the NCAA Women's Softball Tournament, is played here every February at Big League Dreams Sports Park. This tournament features 35 top D1 programs.
