Salar Jung Museum is one of the most significant museums of national importance. It houses an extensive collection of Indian and international artefacts, paintings, books, sculptures, textiles, ceramics, and more. The museum's collection was primarily sourced from the private collection of the Salar Jung family, particularly Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, also known as Salar Jung III. One of the museum's most famous attractions is the musical clock, known for its hourly performance, during which a bearded figure comes out and strikes the gong. This mechanical spectacle draws a crowd, especially around the time it is set to go off.

Mount Lycabettus, in Greek: Lykavittos, Λυκαβηττός, sits right in the centre of Athens, rising 277 metres above sea level. Getting yourself up to this altitude gives you an exquisite 360° view over Athens, the Aegean sea and the ships in Piraeus. When the sky is clear, you can see all the way to the mountains in Peloponnese. As well as views, there is also a chic cafe-restaurant, a 19th century Chapel and an amphitheatre.

An absolute must for all animal lovers is the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust in Trinity. Renowned worldwide for its endeavours in animal preservation, its main purpose is breeding, conserving and showcasing endangered species from across the world.

In the busy St Brelade’s Bay you can find the beautiful, miles-long St Brelade’s Beach, Jersey’s busiest port and a parish church. Here you can enjoy long days sunbathing, do water sports (lots of water activities go on here daily) or simply go on scenic strolls along the bay.
