The Almaden Quicksilver County Park is one of San Jose’s natural gems. The biodiversity is accompanied by a rich history of over 135 years and 4,152 acres. Wildflower displays, over 34.3 miles of hiking trails, 10 miles of biking trails and 23 miles of equestrian trails make Almaden Quicksilver the perfect getaway. Slaughter Pen, located within Bentonville, is a local favorite for mountain biking, offering over 20 miles of soft-surface trails that follow the Razorback Greenway. With over 5,000 animals on display and in their care, the South Carolina Aquarium is sure to delight all ages. Highlights include the Hurricane Simulator, which recreates the sensation of being in a hurricane, and the immersive 4-D theater.

The Museum of the People of Abruzzo (Museo delle Genti d'Abruzzo) is a former 16th-century prison turned into a museum displaying exhibits of local traditions of the Abruzzo region.
