This cinema is not big but it has a large personality. It is a wonderful art theatre which plays low-budget and independent movies which are not shown on other cinemas.

Formerly the main street of Hoi An's French Quarter, Phan Bội Châu is currently going through a renaissance: art galleries, exhibition spaces and sophisticated craft boutiques have opened here, bringing the street to the forefront of the town's cultural life. If you only have time for one gallery visit, make it the Precious Heritage Art Gallery Museum. Brainchild of the acclaimed travel photographer Réhahn, the space contains an exhibition of his finest work – photographs taken across Vietnam that seemingly lay bare the souls of their subjects – as well as an impressive collection of authentic garments worn by various ethnic groups across the country. There is a printed guide to the area's venues that can be picked up free of charge at many locations across town.

San Giuliano Martire is a Renaissance-style Roman Catholic church that also serves as a museum. Construction of this remarkable structure took place from 1553 to 1575, and it stands adjacent to an abbey that once belonged to the Benedictine order. Within the museum section of the church, you can explore an impressive collection of artworks, including renowned paintings by Paolo Veronese that depict the martyrdom of St. Julian and Bittino da Faenza, illustrating the life of the saint.

After a restoration project, Teatro Amintore Galli officially reopened in October 2018. The theatre features a program with celebrated performers and show authors, along with numerous talented female voices who embrace contemporary themes. Tours of the theatre are also available in accordance with the event schedule, as well as a bar on the first floor.
