Macahambus Adventure Park is a natural park where you can see the spectacular Macahambus Gorge, take a walk across the Sky Bridge elevated some 36 metres off the ground, enjoy a slide ride through the undergrowth, and walk through ancient forests.

Here, the evening is spent around a fire, enjoying aromatic coffee and sweet dates, perhaps accompanied by the gentle bubbling of a shisha pipe. It is a stark, beautiful contrast to the daytime heat and a chance to comprehend the vast, empty spaces that have shaped Bedouin culture for millennia.

This ghostly but picturesque hill village has been abandoned since 1822, when its 400 inhabitants chose to throw themselves from its 300 meter high cliff rather than fall into Turkish hands during the genocide following the revolt against Ottoman rule.
