Breath in the maritime air around Glyfada, a pretty beach town with many restaurants, shops, bars and cafes, accessible from Athens by bus and tram. In Glyfada and further on the Athens Riviera you will find many beaches, ideal for swimming or sunbathing.

Rotary Beach is Lake Havasu City’s largest public beach and park, granting easy access via boat or vehicle. Enjoy great recreational amenities as well: volleyball courts, ball fields, a swimming area, a skate park, a walking path, exercise stations, multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, and barbecues. The 5-mph no-wake zone within the Thompson Bay is a favorite of boaters. Rotary Beach is also only a short distance away from the London Bridge.

Well worth visiting and right at the foot of the Acropolis lies the new Acropolis Museum, which provides valuable insights into Greek mythology and Greek history. The museum restaurant offers panoramic views of the Acropolis and a 700 square metre public terrace commanding a breathtaking view of the historic hills of Athens.

Kinsale is a picturesque historic town south of Cork, and can be your last (or second) stop on your Wild Atlantic Way journey. Highlights of the town include the 17th century Charles Fort and James Fort, the 13th century St. Multose Church, and Desmond Castle, also known as the "French prison" and home to a wine museum. Try to visit them all, but also save some time for a leisurely stroll in town, among its colorful streets and Georgian houses, and eat a delicious meal in one of its many quaint restaurants. If you fancy exploring a little below the surface, you'll be happy to know that Kinsale is also a popular diving destination. If instead you prefer to stay above the waves, there are plenty of water activities for you as well, like sailing, kayaking and fishing.
