Didcot Railway Centre was formerly known as the Great Western Railway. It has been the stabling point of engine-shed and locomotive in Didcot. Today, the place is a comprehensive railway museum and preservation engineering site. It is a recreation of Brunel's broad gauge railway and a home to unique collections of Great Western Railway steam engines, coaches, building, wagons, and small relics; and a recreation of Brunel's broad gauge railway. Didcot Railway Centre is open during Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year and daily during peak season and school holiday.

Just 2 km off the coast of Fuerteventura, Isla de Lobos is an untouched gem, home to a sprawling nature sanctuary teeming with an array of flora and fauna, including rare birds. Its main beach, Playa de la Concha, is known for its pristine waters. Trails cross a landscape of salt marshes and hornitos (small volcanic mounds) leading to the volcanic marvel of Montaña La Caldera and the historic Martiño lighthouse.

A trip to Tallinn isn’t complete without a visit to this magnificent northern Baroque palace, built by Peter the Great for his wife, Catherine I, in the early 18th century. Designed by Italian architect Niccolo Michetti, the grandiose palace and surrounding manicured gardens are a humbling example of Tsarist extravagance, but just as important a reason to visit is that this is also home to the foreign art collection of the Art Museum of Estonia.

Cologne’s main opera house stages a mix of classic and contemporary productions, from Mozart to modern composers. The resident company is strong, and visiting performers keep the programme varied. The building itself is modern and a bit divisive—some love it, some don’t—but the acoustics are excellent.
