Dating back to the colonial era, the Dutch Hospital has served as a hospital for Dutch officers, a police station after the country's independence, and in 2011, it was converted into a shopping and dining complex. A nice place to hang out, grab a bite, and marvel at the beautifully preserved seventeenth-century colonial architecture.

The river Gudenåen, Denmark's longest river, offers a wide selection of holiday possibilities and experiences, as you will here find a beautiful scenery, magnificent buildings, and culinary diversity. The Gudenå is selected as one of the 10 best salmon waters in Europe but there are also fine stocks of sander, pike and perch.

The picturesque regional park covers over 23,000 hectares along the coast from Viareggio to Livorno. The grounds feature estates and historic buildings and forested walking trails. You will come across organic farms, apiaries, an archeological area, the Navicelli canal and multiple natural reserves with distinct natural environments. This is not an ordinary oak grove, as its name suggests, but the largest in whole urban Europe! Visit the Kaunas Zoo nearby, or simply take a stroll here, and try to find the rock which Adam Mickiewitz carved on at his favorite spot.
