Oudayas Kasbah near Rabat's nedina has kept its old cannons placed on a bastion. Its massive gate is entirely carved, while its blue and white walls give it a Mediterranean atmosphere. Cobbled streets lead to the El Atiqa Mosque, the oldest in the city, and on to the old semaphore platform. The view from here, or the terrace of the neighbouring Café Maure, is splendid: Rabat, nearby Salé and Bouregreg river meeting the ocean. The Oudayas Palace, further on up, which now houses the National Museum, has conserved its markedly simple and balanced original decor. The Andalusian Gardens below are a heaven of peace full of fruit trees, rose-laurels and cascades of bougainvilleas.

Memphis Mansion is a copy of Elvis Presley's house in Memphis, and you can here find the biggest collection of original Elvis memorabilia outside of the US. The venue also features a small cinema, conference rooms and an Elvis shop with lots of souvenirs, and you have to try the Highway 51 Diner, where you can order food from Southern American recipes and, most important, Elvis's favourite dish: a peanut butter sandwich with jam, grilled bananas and bacon.

The river Seine flows 776 kilometres through northern France and offers a great opportunity to become familiar with many of Paris's impressive monuments while enjoying a boat ride through the heart of the city. Most boat lines offer similar itineraries and are equipped with an audio announcement system, as the multilingual guides provide commentary on the passing sights in several different languages.

The Palazzo Comunale (or Palazzo d'Accursio) is Bologna’s town hall. The upper level of the palace is the home of the civic museum Collezioni Comunali d'Arte (Municipal Art Collections) where a large collection of Renaissance paintings and other pieces of art can be enjoyed.
