Fjätervålen mountain is where both beginners and advanced skiers find their delight. The vastness of the skiing area relative to the number of guests means it never feels crowded, and the slopes don't get overused. Perfect for smooth carving, but also a favourite spot for many alpine clubs for training and competitions. The slopes meet international FIS norms for slalom, giant slalom, and women's super-G. The fact that all slopes converge in one place is a definite advantage. Everyone can ski their favourite slope, but it's always easy to find each other again at the foot of the mountain.

Parco del Valentino is a big public park right in the city centre, next to the river Po. Colourful flower beds, a small stream with wooden bridges and monumental fountains create a peaceful oasis amid the city. During spring and summer, you can chill all day long and well into the evening. The stately Castello del Valentino is the focal point of the park. Within the park, you'll find Borgo Medievale — an open-air museum and reconstructed medieval village and castle. Through the Verwall Valley, the tranquil setting of the Verwall valley is perfect for taking a leisurely sleigh ride. An excellent way for non-skiers to take in the sights and skiers to have a break from the slopes.

One of Nha Trang's most alluring attractions is the Po Nagar Cham Towers, an actively used site of religious significance to Cham, Chinese and Vietnamese Buddhists; only 4 towers remain standing (researchers speculate there may have originally been up to 10). Constructed between the 7th and 12th centuries, the towers have a history that goes back to as early as the 2nd century AD when the location was first used for religious purposes. The complex teems with worshippers and visitors daily – you'll likely see some dozing on the hillside, others having a family picnic, and others yet enjoying a stylised performance at the on-site outdoor stage.
