This international festival of classical music ranks among the most significant cultural events in Pilsen, and organised by the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra, it invites foreign and Czech stars to perform on stage here alike. Dive into the rich history of New Smyrna Beach at the engaging New Smyrna Museum of History. It highlights the town’s founding by an intrepid group of Mediterranean colonists under the leadership of Dr. Andrew Turnbull, a Scottish physician and diplomat. The city serves as a shelter for pilgrims and can host up to 3 million people in more than 100,000 air-conditioned tents, covering an area of approximately 20 square kilometres.
