King Fahd Park is one of the largest and lushest parks in the Eastern Province, and its beautiful waterways and lakes, including numerous waterfalls and bridges, makes this one of the most serene places in Dammam. It also houses some amusement rides and restaurants, making it a great place for the whole family to spend an afternoon.

Mount Lycabettus, in Greek: Lykavittos, Λυκαβηττός, sits right in the centre of Athens, rising 277 metres above sea level. Getting yourself up to this altitude gives you an exquisite 360° view over Athens, the Aegean sea and the ships in Piraeus. When the sky is clear, you can see all the way to the mountains in Peloponnese. As well as views, there is also a chic cafe-restaurant, a 19th century Chapel and an amphitheatre.

The onyx black sand of Reynisfjara is formed from volcanic activity in Iceland: when lava collides with the ocean, it rapidly cools and shatters into small fragments of basalt. With its enormous basalt stacks (features in Game of Thrones and once believed to be petrified trolls), roaring Atlantic waves and stunning vistas, Reynisfjara is widely considered to be the most beautiful example of Iceland’s black sand beaches. The sea stacks along the shore are home to thousands of nesting seabirds like puffins, fulmars and guillemots — a must-see for birdwatchers. A visit to Reynisfjara is included in most tours of southern Iceland. Driving here is a good option, too, since it's only about 180 km from Reykjavík.

The gorgeous and elegant Museum of Cycladic Art contains more than 3,000 artefacts of Cycladic, Ancient Greek and Cypriot art pieces on display over four floors. This is an interesting museum to visit to get a greater understanding of this colourful culture.
