The Children's Museum Mondo Mio is a magical place where everyone can enjoy their time by learning, touching and participating. If souvenirs are what you are looking for, There are many shops closely spaced close to the port where you can buy jewellery, rum, cigars and other gifts. If you want to pick up some last-minute toiletries or snacks, there is a Ram's Super market at walking distance from the port.

This archaeological site (the local name Jardin des Vestiges) was discovered as constructions of a shopping centre commenced here in 1967. The garden contains an interesting mix of Greek and Roman remains. The majority of its finds are ruins of the old port.
