The City Tourist Route is a 7-km-long loop which connects 42 sites – the most interesting monuments and places worthseeing. The idea behind the route was to commemorate the 750th anniversary of granting town privileges to Szczecin. The route is marked by an easily found red dotted line painted on the pavement, and thus the common name of the trail is the “Red Route”. Numbers in circles act as supplementary signs corresponding to each site on the route. Near to each number an information board with a detailed description of the object is either suspended on the wall of the building or standing alone. A pocket guidebook published in various languages, including a map of the route, can be purchased at the tourist information centres, the local seat of Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society and in bookstores. In the heart of the city stands the stately Örebro castle, the gathering point in the city for more than 700 years. Once a simple castle for defence and prison, it was rebuilt as a royal castle during the Vasa era. Today, the castle is an open tourist attraction, with tours, exhibitions, a restaurant and a café, as well as the Örebro Läns Museum.

Located just a few minutes’ walk from the centre , The Scarborough cruise ship terminal is the second port in Trinidad and Tobago. Being a smaller terminal, it can only host one cruise ship at a time, however, on busy days other cruise ships anchor on the west side of the island to then tender passenger ashore. If your cruise ship docks in Scarborough, there are a few cafes, bars and restaurants near the cruise terminal. Other points of interest nearby are the Scarborough Botanical Gardens and Fort King George. There are also buses running regularly from the terminal to Crown Point and the famous beach of Pigeon Point.

Those who live and work here say that you don’t really need to explain where the Jeker quarter is: Once you’re there, you’ll know.
