Thundering Waters is John Daly's first "Signature" golf course in Canada. The golf course features the high risk-reward style of John Daly to enhance the excitement for players of all skill levels. Thundering Waters combines the parkland tranquility of Augusta National and the wind-swept dunes of heathland's British Open Championship golf. Sweeping fairways, undulating greens, sculpted bunkers and meandering creeks, all nestled between towering trees and mighty dunes combine to create a true masterpiece.

The country’s tallest peak dominates this treasure of a park. Experienced climbers can head for the Sibulan and Cooland Trails in Sta Cruz or the Kapatagan Trail in Digos to begin their ascents. The tourist office organises gentler climbs and tours too.

The Arc de Triomphe, commissioned by Napoleon after his win at Austerlitz in 1806, took about 30 years to finish and was finally opened in 1836. Standing 50 metres tall, it sits at the centre of Place Charles de Gaulle, right at the western end of the famous Champs-Élysées. You’ll probably find yourself there at some point, as most visitors wander down this iconic avenue. The monument honours those who fought and died for France during the Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. Beneath it rests the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I.
