Victory Square, or Piazza della Vittoria, holds a significant place in Genoa as not only one of its largest squares, but also as one of the most important ones. Dominating the square is the impressive Arch of Victory, which is also referred to as the War Memorial of the Fallen. This arch is a tribute to the Genoese soldiers who lost their lives during the First World War. Additionally, the square boasts lawns that are adorned with engravings of the symbols of Columbus's ships.

A short drive north of the village of Palmeira on the island of Sal, a hidden gem awaits — a small inlet along the rocky coast unveils a natural wonder. At the opportune time, preferably in the morning, sunlight filters through a hole in the rocks, transforming the scene into a mesmerising display resembling a bright blue eye. The juxtaposition of the vibrant blue water and the frothy white waves crashing against jagged rocks creates a stunning spectacle. The Castle of Ravadinovo, often called "In Love with the Wind", is a whimsical, fairytale-like attraction near Sozopol. The castle sprung from the imagination of architect Georgi Kostadinov Tumpalov, who tirelessly laboured to bring his vision into reality since 1996, involving his family, friends, local workers and getting his own hands dirty, too. Built entirely using marble from the Strandzha Mountains, its dreamy, kitsch design features towers, fountains, and lush gardens. The castle’s enchanting atmosphere, complete with a lake and chapel, offers a surreal escape, making it a popular spot for romantics and photographers. A visit here feels like stepping into a storybook.
