Krosshaugen is a stone cross dating from the earliest Christian period in Norway (about 1000 AD). This location has functioned as a Parliament site and the cross may be a monument to the farmers who converted to the Christian faith during sessions of Parliament. It is believed that Christian mass was performed beside these stone crosses before churches were built.

The Stuttgart State Gallery (Staatsgalerie Stuttgart) is one of Germany’s leading art museums, showcasing works from the 14th century to the present. Ireland’s largest medieval parish church, St Nicholas' Collegiate Church dates from 1320 and is famed for its collection of curiosities. These days, traditional Irish Sessions take place in the church, with the rector playing the flute on summer nights. The church is loved by many, and it’s even said that Christopher Columbus prayed here in 1477 before setting off on his voyage to the New World.
