The City Tourist Route is a 7-km-long loop which connects 42 sites – the most interesting monuments and places worthseeing. The idea behind the route was to commemorate the 750th anniversary of granting town privileges to Szczecin. The route is marked by an easily found red dotted line painted on the pavement, and thus the common name of the trail is the “Red Route”. Numbers in circles act as supplementary signs corresponding to each site on the route. Near to each number an information board with a detailed description of the object is either suspended on the wall of the building or standing alone. A pocket guidebook published in various languages, including a map of the route, can be purchased at the tourist information centres, the local seat of Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society and in bookstores. Reconsecrated 60 years after being destroyed by the Allied bombings, the Baroque sandstone 'Church of our Lady' is a must for any visitor to Dresden. Acting as a reminder of the city’s painful past, its recent transformation and where it is heading in the future. The charred remains of the church were left untouched by East Germany’s communist authorities to serve as a reminder of World War II, but is today yet again the most famous part of Dresden’s skyline.

Built in the 1300s to protect the Alcazaba and house troops, Gibralfaro Castle still has walkable ramparts with some of the best views over Malaga, the port, and the coastline. Inside, there’s a small military museum. The name comes from Jabal-Faruk, meaning 'hill of the lighthouse' in Arabic. The castle was also the site of a long siege in 1487, when Catholic forces took the city from the Moors.

This compact museum brings a slice of Russian art and culture to Malaga, with pieces borrowed from the Leningrad State Museum. The collection covers everything from grand, classical works to more modern, postmodern stuff. They also run events like talks, music performances, and readings. Audio guides and tours are available.
