The Manawakie Eco Nature Park is one of the top animal parks in Roatan, offering a close look at exotic animals such as monkeys, sloths, parrots and macaws. Qinglong Temple, or the Temple of the Green Dragon, is a historic site known for its deep ties to both Chinese and Japanese Buddhism. Established during the Tang Dynasty, it gained further significance when the Japanese monk Kukai (founder of Shingon Buddhism) came to study here in the 9th century. The temple is also renowned for its stunning cherry blossoms, which are particularly spectacular during the annual festival held in March and April. With both Japanese and Chinese cherry blossom varieties, the temple grounds transform into a sea of pink and white flowers, attracting many visitors, especially in late March to early April, when the blossoms are at their peak.

Located on the edge of the awe-inspiring Sahara Desert, Nefta is where the magic of Star Wars becomes a tangible reality. Renowned as the backdrop for iconic scenes in the film series, Nefta's otherworldly landscapes transport visitors to a galaxy far, far away. Beyond its cinematic allure, Nefta enchants with its mesmerising scenery, from rolling dunes that stretch as far as the eye can see to palm-fringed oases. The ancient town is steeped in history, with its labyrinthine medina, adorned with vibrant blue and white facades, and the iconic Mosque of Sidi Bouhlel, which stands as a testament to the region's spiritual heritage.

St Anna's Tunnel, a historical marvel beneath the Scheldt River, offers a passage from Antwerp's core to Linkeroever (the left bank). Its rare wooden escalators, a novelty since the 1930s, guide cyclists and pedestrians through the tiled tunnel, making it a favourite for photographers and Instagram enthusiasts.
