This Jewish grave yard was turned into a museum in 2007. With its over 1,000 tombs, the oldest dating back to the 1500's, this is one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in Europe.

On the picturesque shores of the old mill pond in Storebro, approximately 12 kilometres south of Vimmerby, stands the monument 'Visans Skepp' (Ship of Songs). Built between 1978 and 1988, this unique monument comprises 20 rune stones, ranging from 1.8 to 3.4 metres in height. Each stone bears inscriptions of 40 of Sweden's most beautiful songs from the 20th century, creating a harmonious celebration of the nation's musical heritage against the backdrop of Storebro's historic industrial landscape.

Many of the archipelago's islands are populated by giant Aldabra tortoises, and bird species number 250, 12 of those being unique to the islands. Mahe Island's Port Launay Marine National Park is the place to head for whale shark sightings, and Praslin Island is home to the country's national bird - the Seychelles black parrot. Cousine Island is where visitors are encouraged to take part in wildlife conservation projects (and spot free-roaming giant tortoises and rare bird species along the way). A mere 3km away from there is Fregate Island, known especially for its chelonian inhabitants.

Sport is a very important part of Melbourne culture and Australian Sports Museum displays wonderful collections of cricket, football, Olympic Games, soccer and many other sports artefacts. This is a great place for the whole family; the younger visitors will certainly enjoy the on-site interactive games.
