Formerly known as the Great Whitsunday Walk, this attraction is a 30 km track through the Conway State Forest. The main routes take you from Brandy Creek to Airlie Beach, however, there are also shorter trips from Brandy Creek car park. Part of the Acropolis, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a stone Roman theatre. The structure was completed in 161 AD only to become a ruin a hundred years later. The amphitheatre went through a series of renovations throughout the centuries and now host a wide variety of cultural events. The venue is widely known by locals as simply Herodeon.
